A long-time resident of southeastern Washington, Amber enjoys attempting to become a better human while gaining insight into the trappings and opportunities of life. A lover of the natural world, particularly the American desert, she tries to cultivate wisdom from the teachers of nature and evolution by straining to hear what they may have to tell us about who we are, how best to live, and how we might journey to make sense of it all. Never a more lofty goal taken on by such ineptitude; but might as well aim high, because, well, why not?
